Quick-release couplings

Quick couplings are designed for easy assembly and disassembly, sometimes without the need for tools. They are particularly suitable for installations requiring frequent connection and disconnection.

Several types of quick couplings are available:

• the Guillemin-type symmetrical coupling, also known as a fire hose coupling: used for the transfer, suction or discharge of liquids and powders in the chemical, petrochemical and food industries, as well as for irrigation and firefighting applications. Available in aluminium or 316 stainless steel;

• express couplings: designed for low-pressure water systems and irrigation networks. Their main feature is that the coupling body remains the same size regardless of the connection diameter. Caps and seals are universal. These couplings comply with NF E29-573 and have a service temperature ranging from -20°C to +65°C;

• camlock couplings: the connection is made by inserting the adapter into the coupler. The coupling is then locked by manually lowering the coupler arms, providing a secure and leak-tight connection. Camlock couplings are mainly used in the chemical and petrochemical industries for transferring powders and liquids and are available in 316 stainless steel.
